Flatwoods Fire Destroys Parts of Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care; Local Resident Expresses Gratitude to First Responders

Neighboring properties suffer damage following fire at local business

A fire in Flatwoods, Ky., destroyed parts of Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care near Argillite Road on Tuesday. Jake Styes, a resident, was at school when the fire broke out and could only see the smoke from a distance. He expressed relief that his family and neighbors were unharmed after he returned home to see the aftermath of the fire.

Styes thanked the first responders for their quick actions in preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the neighborhood. The Flatwoods Fire Chief stated that investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire, but it is believed to be accidental. Styes expressed gratitude to the firefighters who helped save his home and his neighbors’ homes.

The community is thankful that everyone made it out safely and that the situation was brought under control swiftly.
