Global Pokemon Enthusiasts Gather in London for World Championship Qualifiers

Streaming of Pokémon European International Championships 2024

Pokémon enthusiasts from all around the globe will gather in London next weekend for three days of intense battles in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, and Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE with the goal of qualifying for this year’s Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu. Championship Points and a prize pool worth thousands of dollars are up for grabs for the winners across all four categories.

The championships will be broadcast live on Twitch, with detailed schedules and corresponding commentators for each day’s events outlined below:

On Twitch.tv/PokemonTCG, coverage of the Pokémon TCG competition will be provided by commentators Alex Dao, Chip Richey, Ethan Hegyi, Freya Pearce, and Mike Ellis. The streaming schedule will be from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time on Friday and Saturday, with the finals starting at 12pm ET on Sunday.

Twitch.tv/Pokemon will provide live streaming coverage of both Pokémon Scarlet and Violet competitions. Commentators Charlie Merriman, Kosta Daidimos, Labhaoisa Akcos-Cromie, Lee Provost, and Sierra Dawn will be providing insight into these games from 10:00 to 21:00 Italian time on Friday and 10:00 to 22:00 Italian time on Saturday. The finals begin at 3:30 PM ET on Sunday.
