Jennifer Leak: A Talented Woman and Survivor of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy who Inspired Many with Her Strength and Determination

76-Year-Old Actress and Soap Star from ‘The Guiding Light’, ‘The Young and the Restless’, and ‘Another World’

Jennifer Leak, a remarkable woman known for her strong spirit and incredible talent, passed away at the age of 76 on March 18 at her home in Jupiter, Florida. She had been battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease, in her final years.

Jennifer Leak was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1947 and had a successful career in acting. She was best known for her role in the 1968 film “Yours, Mine and Ours” where she played Colleen, the daughter of Lucille Ball’s character. The movie portrayed a blended family of 18 children.

Leak later transitioned to working as a sales agent for a real estate company in the mid-1980s. She was married to Tim Matheson from 1968 to 1971 and then wed James D’Auria in 1977. She is survived by her husband and brother.

Matheson shared a tribute to Leak on Facebook, describing her as an incredible woman who was strong, lovely and incredibly talented. He extended his condolences to her husband, James D’Auria, whom she had been married to for 47 years.
