Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin receives high ratings for patient safety and experience

Mayo Clinic Health System has recently been recognized for its exceptional patient care by Healthgrades, a leading healthcare consumer resource. Out of over 830 hospitals evaluated by Healthgrades, only 79 received both the 2024 Patient Safety and Patient Experience Awards. Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota, was one of the distinguished facilities that achieved this recognition, further solidifying its reputation for top-notch patient care.

In addition to the Patient Safety and Patient Experience Awards, Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin and Albert Lea, Minnesota, earned the 2024 Patient Safety Excellence Award. This recognition places these hospitals in the top 10% nationally based on an analysis of 13 patient safety indicators using MedPAR data. This highlights Mayo Clinic Health System’s commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Furthermore, Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, received the 2024 Outstanding Patient Experience Award. This award recognizes healthcare facilities that excel in providing clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families. It reflects the quality of interactions between healthcare providers and patients, as well as the hospital’s ability to understand and meet patient needs throughout their care journey.
