Chief Medical Officer hired by Heartland Whole Health Institute

John Findley, a healthcare leader with nearly three decades of experience, has been appointed as the chief medical officer at Heartland Whole Health Institute in Bentonville. This appointment is effective from June 24th and Walter Harris, President and CEO of the institute, praised Findley for his expertise in leading change and innovation in healthcare.

Findley’s extensive experience includes serving as president of Bryan Health Connect in Lincoln, Nebraska and 15 years as a medical provider in western Colorado. He expressed excitement about joining the passionate team at Heartland Whole Health Institute, where their mission is to redesign the healthcare delivery system to better serve patients across the Heartland region. He looks forward to collaborating with partners to make significant progress in improving healthcare outcomes for future generations.

Heartland Whole Health Institute was established in 2019 by Alice Walton and its sister organization, Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, are currently under construction near Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. The 75,000-square-foot building will house office space and community gathering areas, marking a significant step towards improving healthcare services in the region.
