In preparation for the upcoming Safford Spotlight on Small Business event, attendees are encouraged to reserve their seats before they close soon. The event is taking place at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Monday, April 1, and offers small business owners and operators the opportunity to meet with city officials, including Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella.

These topics include business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new beneficial ownership reporting requirements from the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS.

Mayor Ortega invites both new and established small business owners to attend as there may be new information to gain from this event. Attendees will begin their day with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 a.m., followed by a 90-minute program starting at 7:30 a.m. The event is free to attend, but seats must be reserved in advance through the City of Safford Spotlight on Business Breakfast Tickets event page on Eventbrite.
