Superheroes, Super Health: Wichita County Public Health Hosts First Public Health Fair in Two Years

Health Fair hosted by Wichita County Public

The Wichita County Public Health is thrilled to announce the return of their Public Health Fair for the first time since 2019. Karel Davis joined us in studio to share the details of the event taking place on April 4 from 3 to 6 p.m. The fair will feature over forty community partners with booths offering giveaways, education, and activities for all ages.

One of the highlights of the fair will be the presence of animal services, who will be waiving adoption fees and providing free microchipping for Wichita Falls residents. In addition to the various organizations participating, there will be games and scavenger hunts for attendees to enjoy. The theme for this year’s fair is Super Heros, Super Health, so don’t forget to come dressed in your best superhero costume.

The event will be held at 1700 3rd street, across from the waterfalls, and promises to be a fun and educational experience for the whole family. Whether you’re young or young at heart, be sure to mark your calendars and join in on the festivities. This is a completely free event, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to engage with your community and learn more about public health initiatives.
